Vilafranca del Penedés, 50 km from Barcelona, is where I spend my pastime endulging in culinary delights, wine and local culture. Thanks to my friends Jordi, Guadalupe, Montse, Magda, Raimon, Albert, Pere, Bernadette and Carles, to name just a few, I am discovering Catalunya and Spain local style. Some of it has already been discovered by other travelers, some of it is still very traditional and only known to a few.
